About a Boy and About a Girl challenge blogs are combining .

Hello everyone, welcome to Boy Meets Girl.  This blog is a combination of our About a Boy & About a Girl blogs.  I am having a lot of things on my personal plate right now so I am having to do some rearranging of my blogs.  So instead of doing away with them completely, I combined them into one.  I do hope that you will come back to play with us. We will post 2 challenges per month.  The AAB challenges will post on the 1st of each month and will run until the 15th of the month and the AAG challenges will post on the 15th of each month and run until the 30th of the month.  You are more than welcome to play along with both challenges.  Just remember AAB is boys photos only and AAG is girls only.  Again welcome to Boy Meets Girl. Please take a moment to join our blog to be registered for our giveaway!

Use Your Word Sept 15th DT Reveal

Hi everyone.....the word is SWEET....

Use it in your title or journaling over at Use Your Word

My beautiful daughter and children.....a photo I have been wanting to scrap for 5 years!

 

 

I have used a pizza cutter rolled in green paint and tiny strips of blue washi tape

 

 

Goodies from the Trinket Track are the red stars  and red wooden doily (which I have snapped in half ) and little flowers

 

 

 

This is only one of a thousand sweet memories.....but family tends to do that!!! LOL

About A Girl Sept 15th DT Reveal

Well this challenge is all about flowers, check it out here
I find it hard to put lots of flowers on a page......but I did manage a few on this!! LOL

 

I cut some doilies up and added some little orange rosebuds

 

 

 

I love this photo of my GD Gemma with her friend playing dress ups....it's a stage that comes and goes so quickly and it is so cute!

123 challenge blog - Sept challenge

Hi everyone...had a beautiful Spring rain last night....lovely way to fall asleep!

This month's challenge is

 which I am rather partial too!

Before I show my layout ........I urge you to check out these challenges and join in at 123 challenge
If there are not more entries this blog will close in December and the challenges are so good.

Well...I was doing the dishes and I thought...gosh that paper towelling is pretty....butterflies....get me in every time! LOL
So this morning I used Viva paper towelling on this layout

 

I have misted around the edges and cut some butterflies from the paper... I love how soft and fluffy they look

 

The pink flowers are from the Trinket Track and I am in love with cheese cloth!

 

The blue dots are nail varnish...have been wanting to try this for a while

 

I used SWEET in my journaling

 

 I took Glacia to the playground tonight ( after the feeding the duck ritual) and NO will not swing properly....exclaims Nan don't push me....I'm scared....I guess she will grow out of that!

Glacia is having a sleep over tonight and I got some beautiful photos of her and I must say I haven't been kissed this much in ages!!! LOL
And I had forgot how much 3 year olds can talk and how many times they can say why!!

Kraft it up September challenge

This month's challenge at Kraft it up is a sketch

My interpretation is a bit different and very different for me.....I never use mists! And I have....not sure how successful it is.......but decided to try something different !

I have sponged on white paint and then misted

Show us Your Stuff Sept challenge

The challenge over at Show us Your Stuff this month is to use Red and White and I found this paper and knew exactly what I wanted to do. I have been waiting for the chance to scrap this photo of all my Grand Children together, but I changed it to black and white.

I made these tags to put my sayings on

 

The stars are cork (from the Trinket Track) which I have painted and I cut all those little arrows out of cardstock...so fiddly!

This is the first photo I have with them all together and they all play together so well.

Scrap the boys September challenge

Hi and yes Spring is here! Am doing happy dance! LOL

This month's challenge at Scrap the Boys is all about outdoor activities.
I have been waiting for the chance to scrap this photo of my Grand Son on his very first day of motorbike racing.....so I hope he will be happy with this when I show it to him! (One of my top critics)

 

The title is from A2Z scraplets (Thank you to Belinda Scott) and the cogs are from a prize package from 2Crafty
