Sorry about the photo...I took so many photos and I still couldn't get the colour right....so I gave up!!
I love arrows and to get a different effect, I have distressed the edges of each one and doodled in between and cut small strips of washi tape
I made a little cluster of these little stars from The Trinket Track ... I love these!
And my strips are washi tape cut very tiny. I have put strips on the photo to fill in the background.
I hope this post has made sense as I have had trouble just typing.....hope I feel better tomorrow!

Scrap our Stash June sketch challenge
I have been wanting to do these challenges for ages now, as it really gets me to use up my stash!!
I have finally got to do one and I must say .... it is a good feeling to use old off cuts of paper!!
So this challenge at Scrap out Stash is Create a LAYOUT using the sketch below using SCRAPS ONLY (except for background)
I had a half piece of Rose Moka paper and I have used both sides and another scrap piece. My black cardstock was even in the scraps!
The arrows and butterflies were made with scraps of blue cardstock.

Kraft it up June challenge
Hi...I hope you are all keeping warm and not succumbed to all the bugs around. So many people around me are so sick. Luckily I have at this stage , only got a cold!
This month at Kraft it up the challenge is to do a Project Life inspired page, and to record one week.
When I saw this, I knew we were going away for a week for our 30th Wedding Anniversary and have been looking forward to doing this page when we got back.
I have kept it simple...mainly because I wanted to fit all these photos on and there wasn't much room for anything else! lol
I have only just noticed the wonky E...I forgot to glue the title down and it moved. So I had better get the glue out!!
DH wanted some number 30's on the page (30th wedding anniversary) and then he was happy!
If my photos aren't very clear it's because has been raining and overcast for days and so hard to get a good picture!
So that was our week on Kangaroo Island. We had a great time and I really wasn't ready to come home yet!

I hope you can read this journaling as my computer doesn't let me enlarge my close ups for some reason.
And we are NOT posing! It really was that hard to stand and walking was impossible....only with your legs wide open you might make it to the other end! So funny...

Scrap Friends June sketch challenge
Hello everyone!
I haven't scrapped for ages but this sketch at scrap friends got me thinking!
I had these cute photos of my Grand daughter, Gemma and her friend having a tea party and I thought...yep, beautiful. But unfortunately, mojo gone or something??? and I will confess I have wasted a few papers getting this to happen!
I for some reason, couldn't get big arrows to work for me, so I have tiny little ones! Also made arrows with some lace...trying to get a nice girly feel.
I have inked a cork frame from The Trinket Track and inked and drew on some chipboard butterflies from 2 Crafty (so lucky to have won a prize from here...thank you)
I love this photo of Gemma pouring the drinks...she looks like a true hostess!
My tiny arrows, I cut out from scrap paper and inked.
So that's it, after all my bad starts and wasted paper, I finally have finished it!!
Thanks for looking,

About A Girl - June 15 th challenge - Design Team Reveal
This challenge at About A Girl is to use Bold patterns and colours.
I have used a bold patterned background and added a few butterflies in bright colours.
The pink swirls and butterflies were already there, so I punched out some bright butterflies and scalloped circles to compliment the colours in the patterned paper. I have also matted the photo twice to make it stand out more.

This is my beautiful Grand Daughter Glacia, balancing so well on the chain at the playground.
I have cut out some bright pink strips of paper for the background for my arrows and title.

I love all these colours mixed together, giving a bright summery feel.... and it was just that!
For heaps more fantastic examples of bold patterns and colours, check out the other design team's layouts. They are brilliant!

Frosted designs blog hop
Frosted Designs is hosting a blog hop along with this sketch.
Check out the Design Teams fantastic blogs along the way
It is very overcast here today so I am having trouble getting this to look exactly right!!
From the list of requirements, I have mainly used butterflies (very obvious!! ), washi tape, twine and inks.. oh and the one flower and of course patterned paper. I have done tearing, distressing and layering. I have splattered paint instead of misting.
This is my beautiful Grand Daughter getting very game! I think she actually slipped a bit and that was the end of the springy kangaroo!
thanks for looking
