paper stories

It's nice to find a sketch with multiple photos, which I did at Paper stories
I have used this sketch for inspiration for this layout of the grandkids at Maize island....Jack is missing ...he wouldn't keep still long enough and the pics were all blurry!
And dear little Kerris...he was sleeping and the one I took of him on Dad's lap was really not that good...so it's just James, Glacia and Gemma!

This was rather a challenge for me..not used of this many pics...two is usually the most.
I'm not to sure..I think I should have put more paint cicles on..but then I never know when to stop and then I wreck it....

Thanks for looking

Scrap the girls

I love this photo of the girls playing in the mud on the edge of the river at Maize Island.
Glacia had just arrived and was the centre of attention and her shyness quickly disappeared.
She was blabbing away telling her stories and with all her glorious expressions...really cute!
So it was fitting I used the Scrap the Girls sketch

It feels good to use my old patterned papers up!
And I finally got to use my washi tape!

This is the sketch

Life. Paper. Scrapbook

I took some photos of Jodie fishing at Maize Island yesterday and it was all quite funny, the competition they had going to see who caught the most fish.....well it was actually on a points system, where different fish were worth more or less points, depending on how hard they are to catch in the river. So I couldn 't resist doing this page!

I have used this sketch

from Life. Paper. Scrapbook

And yes she got her glory...she WON!

Stuck sketches and Inspired blueprints

Inspired Blueprints is back!

I really liked this sketch, you can see it here http://www.inspired-blueprints.com/

I was looking back through some old photos and found these of Jack and Gemma playing in the driveway after a big rain.....They are so young, I can't believe that Gemma has just turned six and next week Jack will be eight!

I have done some paint splattering (quite addicted to this at the moment) and used my Martha Stewart punch, hopefully to get the feel of dripping water!
PP is Sassafrass Lass, which I've had for ages.

(SORRY....OUT FOR PUBLICATION )

I have gone a bit nostalgic, scrapping photos from a few years back.

.
Looking back through my photos, I came across these beautiful photos of James at one christmas at
our place ( 2009), when we had the slip and slide up for the kids
His hair is still wet and he is eating  strawberry sorbet. The three of them were sitting on the bench seat being very silly together. I think Jodie took these photos with her fantastic camera!
So I thought this sketch at Stuck Sketches would be ideal for these three photos.

I just LOVE these photos

This is the layout I did of the three of them in 2009

and this is another one of James (same year), that still makes me laugh!

He is such a character!!

Stuck Sketches  Feb 15th sketch.......Jodie gave me this photo of Jack and James on the Xmas pagaent night and I just love doing red and green on a white background

Scrap the Boys February challenge

This is all about little boys and love, so good opportunity for me to scrap James with Grant.
James adores Jodie and Grant, Jack and Gemma and when he was younger and I took him for a visit, I had a very hard time getting him back in the car.

Head over to http://scraptheboys.blogspot.com.au/

Kraft it up feb challenge

I liked this idea of using up your stickers, so I have used some echo park stickers and thickers, that I have had for ages...a few splashes of paint and done.
Give it a go at.. http://kraftitup.blogspot.com.au/2013/02/kiu-february-challenge.html

Glacia was having so much fun with this cake..it was all over her!

Scrap Friends

I couldn't resist this sketch over at http://blog.scrapfriends.com.au/

I have been meaning to scrap these pics of Glacia for ages, so this sketch was ideal...just had trouble taking the pic of the layout..the colours aren't exactly right , which is really annoying me!

This sketch was rather challenging for me....but I really enjoyed doing it!

The colour challenge ...well I'm not too sure what happened here!

I think I got slightly off track and out of control!!...as you can see!
But its done now and I enjoyed doing it...I think....

White with one and Scrap Therapy

I have always wanted to do a page about Gemma and Dolly...I had done one a few years back, but as Gemma has had Dolly for 5 years now, I thought it was time to do another one!

The February colour challenge at White with 1 got me thinking....white, pink plus hearts and this is what I came up with.

Today I have done the sketch challenge at  Scrap therapy love this sketch

and my version

I liked this sketch so much....I attempted another layout!

James had a thing about snails and they used to escape and I would find them on the kitchen floor!

Still getting the hang of this....

I hope I work out this posting a bit better, but anyway the last few  for January

I had to do this after the xmas school holidays and having the kids around home. Unfortunately we were having a heat wave, so outdoor games were not happening, so I brought out all the board games

I did this for the colour challenge at Scrapfit. I love this pic of Glacia.

And finally a card for Gemma....using the colour challenge at Scrapbook Boutique

Well that's it until I get scrappin' again

Friday February 1st

I've done a few for Creative Scrappers

Friday February 1st

Well...my first post on my blog...which I am still working on !
I thought I would show the layouts that I have done during January, so the beginning of the year is covered!
